Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin is "ready to go" for week one per head coach Pete Carroll after missing most of pre-season with a hamstring injury. Baldwin did not play in a single pre-season game but should get the start in the slot in week one against the Arizona Cardinals. He could benefit from the absence of Golden Tate, who is listed as "OUT" for the game.
Fantasy Implications: The good news is that Baldwin is ready to play in week one. He led the team in receiving last season with 51 catches for 788 yards after being an undrafted free agent rookie out of Stanford. The bad news is that we have absolutely no idea what kind of rapport he has with Russell Wilson after missing so much time. Wilson has spent a lot more time working with Braylon Edwards, who will be starting opposite of Sidney Rice, and he may favor a more familiar target while Baldwin gets up to speed. Baldwin had just five catches for 63 yards in two games against Arizona last season.
