Dallas Cowboys Jason Witten said he felt pretty good after playing Wednesday against the New York Giants. Witten, who is recovering from a lacerated spleen, had two catches for 10 yards in the Dallas victory and admitted afterward that there were some area of his game that he will need to clean up for Week 2. Witten now gets 10 days to get healthy before the Cowboys face the Seattle Seahawks.
Fantasy Impact: There were plenty of people who didn't expect Witten to play Wednesday, so hopefully fantasy owners didn't rush him into the lineup once they found out he was active for Week 1. Fantasy expectations were minimal for Witten in the season-opener but he should be a more reliable option moving forward.
