Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Greg Schiano says it would be easier to name the challenges that Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton doesn't present for defenses. We break down the fantasy implications.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Greg Schiano says Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton is one of those players where "you're just trying to hold off the explosion." According to The Charlotte Observer, Schiano was asked by reporters what he saw as the biggest challenge in facing Newton and Schiano replied: "What challenge doesn't he present is the better question." The Panthers and Bucs play in Week 1 on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact: Fantasy owners have high expectations for Newton this season after he threw for more than 4,000 yards in 2011 and set a record for rushing touchdowns by a quarterback (14). Schiano has every right to be concerned, as do those in fantasy leagues playing against Newton in Week 1. Newton is a Top 5 fantasy option at quarterback against the Buccaneers.
