Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart missed practice again on Thursday. We break down the fantasy implications.
Carolina Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart missed another day of practice today with an injured ankle, per Joe Person. Stewart has missed practice all week since spraining the ankle in the final preseason game. It's becoming more and more likely that Stewart will either miss the Panthers game against the Buccaneers on Sunday or be limited.
Fantasy Analysis: It's worth keeping an eye on this situation up until game time, as Stewart's absence or presence will significantly affect the production of DeAngelo Williams and Mike Tolbert. Neither Stewart or Williams missed a game in 2011 and they had nearly an equal share (155 carries for Williams, 142 for Stewart) but Stewart added 47 catches for 413 yards. If he's out, Williams could be a good RB2 play against Tampa Bay.
