Felix Jones left last night's game with a rib injury. We break down the fantasy implications.
Dallas Cowboys running back Felix Jones suffered a rib injury in last night's game against the Giants and did not return. Jones did not have a carry in the game and just two passing targets, but did return three kickoffs. DeMarco Murray looks to be the one and only back in Dallas. It seems as though Jones could be fine, but he's completely fallen off the fantasy radar after last season.
Fantasy Analysis: It wasn't long ago that Jones was seen as a potential RB1 going into 2011 but injuries opened the door for Murray and he hasn't let Jones back in. Murray is just a better all-around back and looks like he is the only one that the Cowboys will use with any regularity. Lawrence Vickers was the only other Dallas running back to get a carry, and he had one. Jones isn't worth a roster spot unless your league is deep and you want to handcuff DeMarco.
