Alex Green is listed as probable for Week 1. We break down the fantasy ipmlications.

Green Bay Packers RB Alex Green (knee) is officially listed as probable for Sunday's game against the San Francisco 49ers. Green was a late addition to the Packers' injury report after missing practice Friday, but appears to be fully ready to go Sunday.

Fantasy Impact: The Packers already ruled out James Starks this week with turf toe, so Green is the primary backup behind Cedric Benson. Green is still 9 months removed from ACL surgery, so don't expect to see much of him outside of 3rd down and short yardage situations. Green, and the Packers' run game in general, are not viable fantasy plays against San Francisco's elite defense.
