Golden Tate is out with a knee injury. We break down the fantasy implications.
Golden Tate (knee) did not practice all week and has been ruled out for the Seahawk's game at Arizona against the Cardinals. Tate sat out practice all week, so the deactivation is not surprising.
Analysis: Tate did show some flashes last year, but we'll have to wait to see how the Notre Dame product will look in his 2012 campaign. Russell Wilson is now only armed with two interesting options at receiver: Sidney Rice and Doug Baldwin. Wilson threw an inordinate amount of balls to the deep-right part of the field. That nugget of information translates nicely to Doug Baldwin. Although, sophomore stud Patrick Peterson plays right corner, which will more than offset the favorable location of passes. Sidney Rice is a sneaky start and the Cardinals don't have much size in the secondary to contain him. Golden Tate should not be owned in almost any league.
