Bengals QB Andy Dalton is probable for Week 1 against the Ravens. We break down the fantasy implications.
Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton (right bicep) is officially listed as probable for Week 1 against the Baltimore Ravens. Dalton took a hit on his throwing arm in the final preseason game, but felt fine about it later and was a full participant in all three practices this week.
Fantasy Impact: It was only a minor injury scare after all, and nobody expected him to miss Monday's game. With that behind us, Dalton is a shaky fantasy play this week against the Ravens defense, particularly if you league only starts one QB. He has QB2 upside this year and a potent weapon in A.J. Green, but the risk of a sophomore slump is ever present.
