Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings will put off any contract talks until after the season is finished. We break down the fantasy implications.
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings will call off any contract talks with the team now that the season has starter so that he can focus on playing, according to Adam Schefter. Jennings will be a premier free agent after the season and is a potential candidate to get a franchise tag should he not reach a deal with the team.
Fantasy Analysis: The seventh-year wide receiver is one of the most consistent threats in the NFL, scoring a touchdown in 9 of 13 games last season. It's nice to see a player actually choose football, and focusing on the game, over money after witnessing holdouts every year from top fantasy players. Jennings has decided instead to focus on having a great year so that he can get that big contract and that's great news for his fantasy owners.
