Marques Colston is active for the Saints today, while Chris Ivory is out. We break down the fantasy implications.
New Orleans Saints wide receiver Marques Colston is active and will play against the Redskins today. Colston had missed practice on Wednesday and was limited the rest of the week, but is healthy enough to play in week 1. Running back Chris Ivory is inactive, while Will Smith will play after his suspension was lifted this week.
Fantasy Analysis: Colston's injury was worrisome but if he's playing then it's safe to assume that all is well and he's good to start for fantasy owners today. He is one of the most consistent wide receivers in the game and is a solid option as a WR2 for week 1. Ivory being inactive is positive news for any owners of the other Saints running backs.
