Trent Richardson (knee) is active for Sunday's game between the Browns and the Eagles. We break down the fantasy implications.
Trent Richardson is active for Sunday's game between the Cleveland Browns and the Philadelphia Eagles, according to reports. Richardson is expected to start, but could be limited as he recovers from offseason arthroscopic knee surgery. Brandon Jackson and Montario Hardesty could see carries to relieve the talented rookie.
Analysis: Don't expect Richardson to see a full workload on Sunday. Albert Breer reported Sunday that Jackson and Hardesty would see carries on third downs, and perhaps earlier. The matchup is a good one, going up against an Eagles run defense that gave up 4.4 yards per carry last season. The Browns are going to do everything they can to protect their No. 3 overall draft pick, however, so don't expect elite fantasy production just yet.
