Brandon Flowers and Tamba Hali are out for the Chiefs against the Falcons today. We break down the fantasy implications.

Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Brandon Flowers and defensive end Tamba Hali are officially listed as inactive against the Atlanta Falcons today. Both had been working back from injuries and it is now confirmed that they will miss week 1.

Fantasy Analysis: The Falcons offense was expected to open it up with new schemes under offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter this season, but they'll get an even greater chance to score with Kansas City missing two of their top defensive players. Neither missed a game in 2011 and Hali has only missed one game in his six-year career. It's safe to bump up the value of Julio Jones, Roddy White, Matt Ryan, and Tony Gonzalez for the passing game today.
