KANSAS CITY, MO - SEPTEMBER 09: Wide receiver Julio Jones #11 of the Atlanta Falcons catches a 8-yard touchdown pass against defensive back Jacques Reeves #35 of the Kansas City Chiefs during the first quarter their season opener on September 9, 2012 at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. Julio Jones goes off. We break down the fantasy implications.
Julio Jones absolutely demolished the Kansas City secondary to the tune of six catches for 108 yards and two scores.
Analysis: The Chiefs didn't stand a chance. Brandon Flowers was out of this game due to injury and Matt Ryan picked them apart. Julio had everything working and Julio was open for most of the game and didn't even really have to use his off-the-charts skill set. He is well on his way to becoming a fantasy stud and we wouldn't be surprised to see him become the top fantasy receiver this year. The Falcons will host the Denver Broncos on Monday Night Football and Julio will be a top-five option in all fantasy leagues.
