Matt Cassel Doesn't Appear To Be Fantasy Starter

Matt Cassel doesn't do much on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Quarterback Matt Cassel had his ups and downs on Sunday by completing 21 of 33 of his passes to rack up a TD, two picks and 258 yards in the blowout loss to the Falcons.

Analysis: Cassel had every opportunity to have a big day today with the Chiefs falling behind in the second half. The Chiefs are clearly committed to the run this year as evident by the 33 attempts on the ground despite not being able to keep pace with the high-flying Falcons. Cassel isn't going to have much upside and we wouldn't consider owning him in almost any 10- or 12-team fantasy league.
