John Skelton Injury Update: Ankle Injury And Will Not Return

Stay connected with SB Nation

John Skelton had to be carted off with an ankle injury. We break down the fantasy implications.

John Skelton was rolled up while in the pocket and was carted off the field. He will not return.

Analysis: It didn't look good and he need some help to get on the cart. Skelton didn't have too strong of a preseason and his opener wasn't impressive either with just 149 yards in 14-of-28 passing while throwing a pick in the processs. Kevin Kolb came in and marched right down the field by completing five of his seven passes. The drive ended with a TD to Andre Roberts. It looks like the QB controversy is back on in Glendale and there's really no reason to own any Cardinal signal caller.
