Matthew Stafford Disappoints Fantasy Owners With Three Picks

Matthew Stafford struggled a bit with three INTs against the Rams. We break down the fantasy implications.

Detroit Lions QB Matthew Stafford had a rough game against the St. Louis Rams, completing 32 of 48 passes for 355 yards with one touchdown and three interceptions, including a pick-6. Fortunately for the Lions, his one passing TD was a last-minute game winner to Kevin Smith, as Detroit edged the Rams 27-23.

Fantasy Impact: I wouldn't worry too much about his performance. The three picks are disappointing, but for the most part Sunday's game was vintage Stafford, racking up tons of yards and passing attempts. The Lions escaped a scare against the Rams, but Stafford can't afford to be as careless next week, when he faces the fierce 49ers defense.
