Donnie Avery Gets 8 Targets And Puts Himself On The Fantasy Radar

Donnie Avery scores. We break down the fantasy implications.

Donnie Avery was second on the Colts in targets with eight and even caught one for a score. His stat line also included three catches for 37 yards.

Analysis: Yes, Austin Collie did sit this game out for the Colts and there's almost no doubt that Avery's snaps would have been cut in half had Collie been able to suit up. The targets are a good sign and we would expect that opponents would key in on Reggie Wayne a little bit more after he saw a ridiculous 18 targets. Fantasy owners can just store this in their memory banks since Collie is likely to suit up next week at Minnesota. He's not worth picking up in almost any league.
