St. Louis Rams running back Zac Stacy returned to practice on a limited basis Thursday. Stacy missed practice on Wednesday with a rib injury, but it's not considered serious.
Stacy suffered the injury in Sunday's win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. He got the start over an ineffective Daryl Richardson and gave the Rams the first real spark in the running game they've had all season. Stacy rushed 14 times for 78 yards before leaving with the injury. Head coach Jeff Fisher confirmed that Stacy will remain the starter for next week's game against the Houston Texans.
Fantasy impact: As expected, the rib injury isn't expected to hold him back. At worst, he might be listed as questionable on Friday's injury reports, but he will play. Stacy has a chance to run with the starting job and become a decent RB2 play in fantasy, but he will have a tough matchup against the Texans defense this week. For now, consider him bye-week filler until he proves that he can be a reliable every-week starter.
