Stevie Johnson injury update: Back at practice, still plenty of risky for fantasy

Evan Habeeb-USA TODAY Sports

Stevie Johnson was limited in Wednesday's practice. We break down the fantasy implications.

Bills receiver Stevie Johnson was limited in practice on Wednesday. His back injury kept him out Week 6 and he's also been bothered by a hamstring issue for much of the season.

The team fully expects him to play against the Dolphins on Sunday. It won't be a great matchup since the Dolphins have been successful at shutting down X receivers with solid safety play and coverage from Brent Grimes.

He has just 20 catches for 254 yards this season. Things aren't expected to get much better for him with their issues at QB. Thad Lewis was shockingly good, but he wasn't able to get the ball down the field much. Plus, the Dolphins' pass rush isn't going to help either.

Fantasy impact: Even though he looks to be somewhat healthy, it's tough to count on Johnson this week. The Dolphins are 27th in passing yards allowed despite going against strong offense in the Saints, Falcons and Colts. Robert Woods is also not really a very good option.
