White sustained an ankle injury in the preseason and hasn't been right all year. He has a paltry 14 catches in five games to go with a career-low 9.2 yards per catch.
It probably makes the most sense just to hold him out of the lineup. White hasn't missed a single game in his career, so while it might be a little unusual, it's almost a bit necessary since he's looked like a shell of himself this season.
Fantasy impact: The Falcons could be rolling with a receiving trio of Harry Douglas, Drew Davis and Kevin Cone, which is a far cry from White and Julio Jones. Matt Ryan could have a tough time trying to get it going against a tough Tampa Bay secondary. Douglas is a high-upside WR3 in most leagues while the others aren't really worth starting with their lack of experience. As for White, his owners have to stick with him.
