Reed was the favorite target of quarterback Robert Griffin III, who found the rookie tight end nine times for 134 yards and a touchdown in the Redskins' 45-41 victory. When Griffin needed a completion, he looked in Reed's direction and rightfully so, since he caught all of his team-leading nine targets.
Fantasy Spin: It's the latest example of Reed's emergence in the Redskins offense, and it's also the best example. Reed was utilized in multiple ways, lining up in the slot and also caught his only touchdown on a corner-fade in the end zone after being split wide.
As Griffin continues his return to form from his offseason knee surgery, Reed will likely grow with him. But his secret is out now, and claiming him won't be as easy of a task as it would have been two weeks ago. He deserves a start in most formats in Week 8's matchup with the Broncos.
