The New Orleans Saints host the Buffalo Bills in Week 8. The Saints are back to form after an ugly 2012, while the Bills are quietly hanging around in the AFC East. There will be quite a few interesting fantasy football options at the Superdome.
With C.J. Spiller out of the lineup, Fred Jackson is set up for a big day against the Saints. Tashard Choice will get some touches, but Jackson should get the bulk of the work. Stevie Johnson is healthy for the first time in a while and should be a favorite target of quarterback Thad Lewis.
The Bills should look to pass, so these three guys have some upside. Woods is a deep threat and it's fair to expect that the Bills will try to get him the ball downfield. If Woods can connect on one or two, he could flirt with 100 yards and a score. Scott Chandler should be busy with all the hot reads because the Saints like to blitz. Thad has some upside, but too much risk outside of deep leagues.
Sits: C.J. Spiller
He's hurt and is listed as doubtful. Spiller is arguably the biggest bust of fantasy football this year.
There's really no way you can sit the first three on this list. Jimmy Graham is going to be a game-time decision, but as long as he's active, he should be in the lineup for all fantasy owners. Check the inactives 90 minutes before game-time.
Deep starts: Pierre Thomas
There really isn't a lot to like about Thomas since the Saints will pass the ball even while they're up. Brees is very accurate, so their passing game serves almost like a run game for clock control.
Lance Moore is back, but you can't start him with the injury concern hanging over his head.
