New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning avoided any interceptions for the second straight game Sunday, but was held out of the end zone as his team beat the Philadelphia Eagles 15-7. Manning's two most recent games were his only without interceptions on the season, and not coincidentally were the Giants' only two wins of 2013 so far.
Manning completed 25 of his 39 pass attempts Sunday for 246 yards. Wide receiver Victor Cruz was Manning's leading receiver, with 86 yards on seven receptions.
Fantasy impact: Manning still sits at a dismal 10 touchdowns and 15 interceptions of the season, which is hardly acceptable. Though his 246 yards Sunday were his fourth-highest total of the season -- and second-highest since Week 2 -- he still wasn't the quarterback he had been in recent seasons.
The Giants have their bye next week, then come out of it with games against Oakland and Green Bay. Manning ought to be able to tally decent receiving yards in those games, giving him perhaps decent value.
