Peyton Manning lights up for fantasy owners against Washington

Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning threw for 354 yards and four touchdowns in the Week 8 win over the Washington Redskins. We bring you the fantasy implications here.

Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning threw for 354 yards and four touchdowns in the Week 8 win over the Washington Redskins. It wasn't a flawless game since he also threw three interceptions including a pick-six while losing another fumble. He was also called for a holding penalty on the fumble play. Still, Manning and the Broncos put up 38 unanswered points beginning late in the third quarter. The Broncos offensive juggernaut remains intact.

Fantasy impact: Manning was far from perfect in this game, but he did get back on track in the third quarter. Manning apparently has two sprained ankles and is headed toward a much needed bye week. On the year, he has thrown 25 touchdowns. Manning's production this year has been incredible and his position as one of the best fantasy quarterbacks this year remains true. The Broncos will return to action in Week 10 and face the San Diego Chargers.
