Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Golden Tate found plenty of fantasy football wealth on Monday night versus the St. Louis Rams, despite it being a game that didn't provide much of it as a whole.
Tate led the way with two touchdown catches, including a controversial 80-yard catch and run that ended with him taunting the Rams secondary from 30-yards away from the goal line. Despite costing his team a penalty in the process, it did not taint his stat sheet or the scoreboard and Tate finished with five catches for 93 yards and the pair of scores.
Fantasy Spin: Tate has been a largely unreliable receiver for fantasy owners to bank on, logging just three double-digit games out of a possible eight in standard leagues. Monday marked Tate's biggest performance of the season, and with a season that has not echoed his preseason hype thus far, his owners will gladly take it.
With Percy Harvin slated to return to action soon, and with Tate's most recent performance being his best, owners may have found a prime opportunity to sell high.
