Bilal Powell gets bulk of the fantasy carries; Mike Goodson shines

New York Jets running back Mike Goodson picks up yards against the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football - Daniel Shirey-USA TODAY Sports

New York Jets running back Mike Goodson returned from his four game suspension with three carries for 32 yards in the Week 5 win on Monday Night Football against the Atlanta Falcons. We bring you the fantasy implications here.

New York Jets running back Mike Goodson returned from his four-game suspension and was promoted to the active roster in time for the Week 5 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. He carried the ball three times for 32 yards for a 10.7 yards per carry average and had one reception for nine yards. Bilal Powell got the bulk of the carries and rushed for 38 yards on 12 touches. Chris Ivory added four carries for 27 yards.

Fantasy impact: Following the game, head coach Rex Ryan expressed pleasure over using so many different players on offense so it doesn't appear the platoon is going to end any time soon. With both Ivory and Goodson back in the mix fantasy owners are going to need to watch the snap count and ball distribution carefully until the situation becomes more clear. The Jets will face the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 6.
