San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis caught one pass for two yards before leaving the Week 10 loss to the Carolina Panthers with a concussion. We bring you the fantasy implications here.

San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis caught one pass for two yards before leaving Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers with a concussion. Davis was targeted only twice before leaving with the injury and the 49ers offense struggled after he left. An impact player, Davis' absence affects the offense. On the year, Davis has 30 receptions for 520 yards and seven touchdowns. He missed the Week 3 game against the Indianapolis Colts.

Fantasy impact: Davis will need to pass the concussion protocol to play in Week 11. Not much is yet known about the extent of his injury so obviously fantasy owners will want to stay on top of the situation. More information should become available as the week progresses. Even so, the 49ers will face the New Orleans Saints in Week 11. The Saints are giving up the fourth fewest fantasy points to tight ends right now.
