Miami Dolphins wide receiver Mike Wallace is having an underperforming season in Miami - Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Mike Wallace caught four passes for fifteen yards on seven targets on Monday Night Football against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. We bring you the fantasy implications here.

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Mike Wallace caught four passes for 15 yards on seven targets on Monday Night Football against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Wallace averaged a measly 3.8 yards per catch average. On the year, Wallace has 40 catches for 495 yards and one touchdown. Wallace has been targeted an astonishing 79 times on the year.

Fantasy impact: To say Wallace and his season in Miami has been underwhelming might be an understatement but the numbers speak volumes. He was largely uninvolved in the passing game Monday night as Rishard Matthews and Brian Hartline got the bulk of the targets with fourteen and eight respectively. Fantasy owners might want to consider moving on at this point. Wallace isn't even looking like a bench stash right now. The Dolphins will face the San Diego Chargers and they are giving up the 4th most fantasy points to wide receivers right now.
