Atlanta Falcons tight end Tony Gonzalez (toe) was limited in practice on Friday and could be headed towards the dreaded game-time decision for the team's Week 11 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Gonzalez did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday but the veteran has not yet been ruled out.
Fantasy Impact: Tony Gonzalez is a good chance to be a game-time decision and fantasy owners need to have a backup ready to go. While Gonzalez's 2013 numbers are more than respectable for a 37 year-old, they are slightly down by his standards. He has 47 catches for 505 yards and four touchdowns on the year. However, about a fourth of his receptions and half of his touchdowns came in Week 4.
If Gonzalez does suit on up Sunday, he should be in starting line ups. However, owners may need to temper their expectations. Gonzalez has had no more than four catches in six of his nine games this year. He will not be 100 percent healthy if he does suit up and PPR owners could be in for moderate production at best. You can never count the future hall-of-famer out and he will remain a mid-range TE1.
