Michael Floyd injury update: Fantasy value remaining low in second year

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Michael Floyd hurt his shoulder in Week 10 and missed some action, but he'll be back for Week 11. We break down the fantasy implications.

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Michael Floyd is listed as questionable to face the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. He suffered a shoulder injury and is expected to play after missing Wednesday's practice. The injury was an AC sprain in his shoulder and he did not return in Week 10. Both Floyd and his coach Bruce Arians confirmed he would be in the lineup.

The second year wideout from Notre Dame hasn't really blossomed this season after a very quiet rookie campaign. He has no 100-yard games, no games with more than five catches and only two scores on his 57 targets.

Fantasy impact: The Cardinals have leaned on Larry Fitzgerald the past five years and that hasn't changed much this season. They really don't have enough firepower on offense to have more than one receiver post consistent numbers, so Floyd isn't really going to be worth starting based on what we've seen. The Cardinals used Andre Roberts quite a bit last week while Floyd was out of the lineup. With Floyd back, there's little reason to take a chance on either Roberts or Floyd in almost any fantasy format.
