Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson completed 13 passes for 220 yards and two touchdowns in the team's 41-20 win over the Minnesota Vikings in Week 11. Wilson has completed less than 20 passes in all but two games this year.
Fantasy impact: The Vikings' Christian Ponder threw an interception for a touchdown in the game and running back Marshawn Lynch ran in two scores of his own. Those outcomes resulted in Wilson playing game manager for much of the contest.
The Seahawks are a well-rounded team that doesn't need a high volume quarterback to win games. Wilson is very talented no doubt, he can beat teams with his arm and his legs. Against the Vikings though, he only ran the ball twice for 14 yards.
He proved to be elusive in the game as well, he was only sacked once the whole afternoon. Fantasy owners may have been hoping there was another level to his game when they drafted Wilson, but it's clear he's one of those mid-round worthy picks that puts together the odd big game in between a string of consistent yet conservative output.
