Gonzalez has now practiced once a week in back-to-back weeks, but suited up for games both weeks. Last week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Gonzalez participated in 50 of the team's 74 snaps despite his ongoing toe ailment, and more can be expected this week after getting a vote of confidence from head coach Mike Smith.
Fantasy Spin: Much of Gonzalez's workload came while the team was in catch-up mode in Week 11, and that has been familiar territory for the Falcons all season. Expect them to deploy that once again versus the NFC's top-scoring offense, something that Gonzalez's fantasy owners will welcome. With a plus matchup ahead and with another week removed from a toe injury, expect the future hall-of-famer to build from his seven-catch, 63-yard performance from Week 11. Fantasy owners can comfortably leave him in their lineups as a TE1.
