Green Bay Packers rookie running Eddie Lacy is having a fantastic year - Tom Lynn

Green Bay Packers running back Eddie Lacy rushed 25 times for 110 yards and a touchdown in the Week 12 tie with the Minnesota Vikings. We bring you the fantasy implications here.

Green Bay Packers running back Eddie Lacy rushed 25 times for 110 yards and a touchdown in the Week 12 tie with the Minnesota Vikings. Lacy also caught six passes for 48 yards. Lacy is averaging 77.3 yards per game. On the year, he has 197 carries for 806 yards and six touchdowns. He also has 22 receptions for 158 yards.

Fantasy impact: Lacy is having a fantastic year since he assumed the lead back role in Green Bay. Aaron Rodgers is still out, but the Matt Flynn era has resumed and stabilized the offense. The Packers are going to continue to feed the ball to the talented rookie running back and his status as must start remains secure. So long as Flynn stays steady at the helm, the Packers offense at least moves the ball and scores points. The Packers will face the Detroit Lions in Week 13. The Lions have a pretty stout run defense and are giving up the twelfth least fantasy points to running backs.
