After several weeks of mediocrity, Tom Brady returned in Week 9 with huge numbers for fantasy owners. Brady threw for 432 yards and four touchdowns in Sunday's 55-31 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Brady had his arsenal of weapons at his disposal on Sunday afternoon; Rob Gronkowski, Danny Amendola, Stevan Ridley, and rookie Aaron Dobson all contributed to a dominant offensive performance. Brady abused Pittsburgh's secondary, completing 23 of 33 passes and no interceptions.
Fantasy impact: There were concerns heading into Week 9 that Brady was falling out of the QB1 discussion. Those concerns were firmly squashed as Brady connected often with his receivers and now healthy tight end. Brady was surgical against a Pittsburgh defense that had allowed the third fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks heading into Week 9.
With Gronkowski playing at one hundred percent and Danny Amendola staying on the field for the time being, Brady's options in the passing game all of as sudden seem plentiful. To add to an already explosive offense, rookie Aaron Dobson caught five passes for 130 yards and two touchdowns and is cementing himself as Brady's deep threat. As long as he can keep the majority of his weapons on the field, Brady is a solid QB1 moving forward.
