Jay Cutler could return for fantasy action in Week 10

Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler could return to action in Week 10 - Jonathan Daniel

Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler is reportedly set to return to action in a Week 10 matchup against the Detroit Lions. We bring you the fantasy implications here.

Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler is reportedly set return to action in Week 10 against the Detroit Lions. This is great news for fantasy owners who were told Cutler would miss at least four weeks with a groin injury. There had been rumors Cutler was close to returning but reports surfaced Monday saying he was set to return, although no official confirmation has been issued by the team. Before he went down with an injury, Cutler had thrown for 1658 yards and twelve touchdowns.

Fantasy impact: Fantasy owners will obviously want to keep an eye on the situation but if healthy, Cutler is a must start. Never the most mobile of quarterbacks, the groin injury shouldn't really limit him much and reports indicate he is almost fully recovered. Cutler is available in 70% of Yahoo leagues and is definitely worth a pickup if he is available in your league. He would be an immediate upgrade over many quarterbacks. The Detroit Lions are giving up some good fantasy points to quarterbacks.
