Buffalo Bills quarterback E.J. Manuel (sprained knee) expects to start in Week 10 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to a report from the team's official Twitter account.
Fantasy impact: Manuel hasn't played since suffering his injury back in Week 5 against the Cleveland Browns.
Teammate Jeff Tuel came in for him in that game and due to his lacklustre effort, was replaced by Thad Lewis in Week 6. Though Lewis did better than Tuel in terms of keeping the Bills in games, Lewis lost three of the four starts he got.
Niether replacement quarterback proved to be an asset in fantasy leagues and because Manuel is still in his rookie season, he's only really worth being a bye week replacement at best right now.
With the Bills still somewhat in a playoff race and having to win games in the immediate future, it is nice to see Manuel come back within the four to six week timeline suggested.
The Bills face an underachieving Pittsburgh Steelers team in Week 10, so hopefully Manuel is able to play and keep building his fantasy resume.
