Fantasy football start/sit, Week 13: Nick Foles is solid home option

The Eagles get a tougher matchup this week against the Arizona Cardinals. Should fantasy owners keep the hot Nick Foles going?

The Philadelphia Eagles have gone away from their run-happy ways and coach Chip Kelly has put more responsibility on the shoulders of quarterback Nick Foles. The Eagles are coming off a bye and will welcome the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday to Lincoln Financial Field.

Foles has set the world on fire over the past three weeks, but he hasn't exactly dealt with stiff competition. His seven-touchdown game was against the Oakland Raiders, then he also turned in good games against the Green Bay Packers and Washington Redskins. He won't get an easy matchup this week.

The Cardinals just completely shut down Andrew Luck and the Colts last week. They also put some notches on the belt with effective games over Matt Ryan and Cam Newton.

Patrick Peterson is likely going to keep DeSean Jackson in check, so Foles might not have the deep ball as readily available as he has all season.

Fantasy impact: He's still too hot to bench in most leagues. He'll have a high ceiling this week in what should be an up-tempo game. Foles is a mid-level QB1 and looks like a better play than someone like Robert Griffin III.
