The Atlanta Falcons can't get out of their own way and it has a lot to do with their guys up front. The Falcons have no rushing attack, which has allowed defenses to key in on the passing game. What's more, the loss of Julio Jones has transformed the big-play offense of 2012 into a mediocre one in 2013.
Quarterback Matt Ryan has been a shell of himself. This season, he has 3,160 passing yards for 18 touchdowns and 12 picks. Ryan's 7.1 yards per attempt is also low considering he's at 67.0 in completion percentage.
Fantasy impact: He will take on the Buffalo Bills this week. The Bills have traditionally been a nice matchup, but they have been better as of late. They're still 18th in allowing fantasy points to QBs, so there is a chance for Ryan to rebound. Plus, the Bills are great at stopping the run, so the Falcons will likely air it out to Harry Douglas. Ryan is a low-end QB2 in most formats with high upside.
