Things are setting up very nicely for the Chicago Bears on offense on Sunday. They will take on the Minnesota Vikings at Mall of America Field. The dome conditions more than negate not having home-field advantage. The Vikings are also allowing the most points in the NFL and a league-worst 24 touchdowns through the air.
Things did not go well for Alshon Jeffery in his last game against the Vikings. He had just one catch on five targets for 11 yards during a 31-20 victory at home. Obviously, the second-year receiver has blossomed throughout the season and he's getting tons of looks. Over his last four games, Jeffery was targeted 46 times and he's also run the ball seven times.
Fantasy impact: Even with Jay Cutler out and Josh McCown set to start again, Jeffery is an extremely strong start. The Vikings are very vulnerable down the field and the Bears will be running all sorts of vertical routes. Even with Brandon Marshall likely to torch the Vikings, Jeffery is a very high-end WR2 in standard leagues and should be viewed as a top-20 play in PPR leagues, as well.
