Editor's Update: Thomas has been ruled INACTIVE for Week 13.
Thomas got three limited practice sessions in this week, but will remain a true game-time decision despite that. A knee injury sustained in Week 11, also against the Chiefs, has kept Thomas out of game action ever since, and it appears that Week 13 is far from a guarantee for the team's dominant tight end.
Fantasy Spin: There will have been 10 games in the books by the time the Broncos and Chiefs take the field at 4:25 p.m. ET, leaving Thomas's fantasy owners with pretty much nothing to choose from if they wait until then to make a decision on who to start at tight end. There has been nothing encouraging about his status thus far, and fantasy owners will need to make a decision before Sunday's early games to avoid playing with fire.
In the event that Thomas does play, he will face a defense that has allowed the third-fewest fantasy points to tight ends this season, and also just 41.6 yards per game. At far less than 100 percent, it's a matchup that fantasy owners would be well-advised to avoid.
