Indianapolis Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton is still dealing with a minor shoulder injury, according to head coach Chuck Pagano, via George Bremer of The Herald Bulletin. Hilton sustained the shoulder injuty against the Arizona Cardinals on Nov. 24, and hasn't looked the same since.
Hilton is Indianapolis' top receiver, with 58 receptions for 798 yards and five touchdowns on the season. Reggie Wayne is out for the season, so Hilton has been drawing No. 1 corners for a large portion of the season. For the most part, he's flourished, with four games of over 100 yards receiving.
The issue is he's also had four games with fewer than 30 receiving yards and nine with fewer than 50 yards. When he doesn't put up 100-plus yards, he always puts up fewer than 50. In the past three games, he's had yardage totals of 38, 46 and most recently, seven yards. In that time, he's caught 12 of 21 passes thrown his way.
Fantasy Impact: It's obvious that Hilton is still somewhat hampered by his shoulder injury. He hasn't looked the same in recent weeks, but it's worth noting that LaVon Brazill and Da'Rick Rogers have been drawing some coverage of late as well, so Hilton could be in for a big game before it's all said in done. As for this week, Hilton should be all systems go against the Houston Texans on Sunday.
