The Week 15 matchup between the San Diego Chargers and the Denver Broncos should be one of the higher scoring games on the schedule. We've got all the fantasy projections for you courtesy of numberFire.
San Diego Chargers
Quarterback Philip Rivers has thrown three touchdowns and no interceptions in two of his last three starts. Rivers is playing well at the right as the Chargers head to Denver looking to hand the Broncos their first home loss of the season. When Rivers faced the Broncos last month at home, he only threw a single touchdown pass. He'll definitely need to do better than that this week.
If he does, wide receiver Keenan Allen will no doubt be a big part of that. Allen only had three catches last week, but two of them went for touchdowns. Whether Allen ends up with a large number of receptions and yards or just does enough to get into the end zone, he puts up points. He'll be a must-start against a high-powered Broncos offense this week, as the Chargers will probably be playing catch up.
The fantasy world better watch out for Peyton Manning this week. His fantasy owners have a good shot of getting to the next stage in the playoffs. That's because Manning has nine touchdown passes combined in the last two weeks. He threw four of them against the Chargers the last time the two teams played each other and he only needs five more the rest of the season to set a single-season career-high.
Demaryius Thomas is the team's best receiver and Manning's favorite target. That said, Eric Decker has gotten hot at the right time for his fantasy owners. Decker has five touchdowns in the last two weeks, which more than doubles his season total before that. He was held to only 52 yards against the Chargers in November, but fantasy owners might want to give him a look this week given how hot he's been.
