San Diego Chargers running back Danny Woodhead has been a revelation all year. On the season, he's totaled 330 rushing yards on 84 carries with 534 receiving yards on 65 receptions. Woodhead also has a team-high eight scores on the season.
He's scored three times in the last three games while catching 10 balls on the season. The Chargers have been one of the better offenses in the entire NFL, especially over the past three weeks with an average of 29.3 points per game.
They have a true timeshare at running back and Ryan Mathews is having a terrific bounce-back year. He hasn't missed a game and has four 100-yard games in his last eight outings.
Fantasy impact: Woodhead had one of his worst games of the season against the Broncos back in Week 10. The 5'8 running back had just 27 rushing yards and 17 receiving yards, but was able to reel in a TD catch. PPR owners have to play Woody this week while standard-league owners can view him as a high-ceiling flex.
