Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 15: Daniel Thomas and Lamar Miller are risky

Daniel Thomas should have the inside track for carries against the Patriots. Is that enough to start him in fantasy leagues?

The Miami Dolphins might have to go into their divisional matchup with the New England Patriots at less than 100 percent on offense. Running back Lamar Miller suffered a concussion against the Pittsburgh Steelers and did not return.

The good news is that Miller has passed a concussion test and looks like he will be ready for the game, but that might not even matter. The team has been splitting carries between Daniel Thomas and Miller for most of the season.

Things were looking up for Miller heading into last week, but Thomas made a surprise appearance against the Steelers and even racked up 105 rushing yards after an ankle sprain was expected to keep him out. It was the first time Thomas had 100 rushing yards since his rookie year. The team has been in Thomas' corner all year despite his fumbling and lack of play-making ability.

Fantasy impact: It's one thing to be on a team with a lack of an running game, but it's another to be in a timeshare. The Dolphins can't run the ball and teams have been sacking quarterback Ryan Tannehill more than any QB. Fantasy owners should not start either back this week against the New England Patriots.
