Green Bay Packers quarterback Matt Flynn hasn't lit-up any scoreboards during his tenure as the team's signal caller this season, but he affirmed that he can do enough to help his team win games in Week 14's performance.
Now sitting at a 1-1-1 record as a starter, Flynn completed 75 passes in his most recent effort and threw for 258 yards, one touchdown and turned the ball over twice. The inconsistencies and mistakes will be expected, but there is plenty of room for Aaron Rodgers' replacement to build on his performances this week versus the Dallas Cowboys defense.
Fantasy Spin: The Cowboys have not only allowed more passing yards to opposing quarterbacks than any other team this season, but they have also allowed the most fantasy points to the position. Though is no consistency to be expected from the Packers quarterback position unless Rodgers is under center, there is enough upside for Flynn to assert himself as a fantasy-relevant quarterback this week.
There are simply too many options that could be better considered over him at such a rich position in standard formats, but in two-quarterback leagues, owners could do much worse than roll with Flynn as a QB2.
