DeSean Jackson boosts fantasy rosters with 195 yards, 1 touchdown

Brace Hemmelgarn-USA TODAY Sport

DeSean Jackson finished Week 15 with 195 yards and a touchdown. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

DeSean Jackson was certainly strong in defeat on Sunday afternoon. Jackson hauled in 10 receptions for 195 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Jackson's lone touchdown was a 30-yard connection with quarterback Nick Foles. He was targeted a team-high 16 times. Jackson was the beneficiary of a heavy passing attack, as the Philadelphia Eagles were constantly trying to catch up to the Vikings for most of the afternoon. Jackson now has a career-high 1,275 yards along with nine touchdowns.

Fantasy impact: Fantasy owners were rewarded with a season-high performance from Jackson both in receptions and yardage. Minnesota simply could not find a way to stop Jackson all afternoon. Jackson's Week 15 performance is likely the best that fantasy owners will experience all season, but he's still a low-end WR1 play in Week 16 against the Chicago Bears.
