Greg Jennings ends touchdown drought, finds some fantasy points

Brace Hemmelgarn-USA TODAY Sport

The Vikings wide receiver found the end zone in Week 13. We break down the fantasy implications.

Minnesota Vikings running back Greg Jennings caught seven passes for 78 yards and a touchdown in a 23-20 win over the Chicago Bears in Week 13. He was targeted nine times in the game.

Fantasy impact: Everyone knows what Jennings can do when he's being thrown passes from a truly elite quarterback. The problem is, he doesn't have that luxury in Minnesota. Fortunately, it didn't matter in Week 13.

The Bears have one of the worst defenses in the NFL this season and Jennings was able to find his share of statistics exposing it. Perhaps it was all for not, there's very little chance Jennings' day had much of an impact on fantasy owners anyway. He only had two touchdowns on the year coming into the game against Chicago and they both came in the same game back in Week 4.

At this point in the season, it's not really realistic for owners to take a chance on a guy like Jennings when he hasn't done much all year. He probably just had the last good game he's going to have the rest of the season.
