Colts running game falters, Donald Brown still scores for fantasy owners

Indianapolis Colts running back Donald Brown scored the only offensive touchdown against the Tennessee Titans - Michael Hickey

Indianapolis Colts running back Donald Brown rushed 14 times for 54 yards and a touchdown in a win. We bring you the fantasy implications here.

Indianapolis Colts running back Donald Brown rushed fourteen times for 54 yards and a touchdown in their Week 13 win over the Tennessee TitansTrent Richardson added five carries for 19 yards on Sunday. The Colts running backs averaged 3.84 yards per carry. The Brown touchdown was the only offensive score for Indiana. On the year, Brown has 57 carries for 324 yards and three touchdowns. Richardson has carried the ball 134 times for 392 yards and two touchdowns.

Fantasy impact: Richardson has been rightfully criticized, but Indianapolis' struggles in the  running game aren't entirely his fault. The Colts offensive line needs work and these backs are often getting met in the backfield and finding run lanes hard to come by. You can expect to see the committee continue in the Colts backfield while they struggle to find an answer. Indianapolis will travel to Denver to face the Broncos in Week 14. The Broncos are giving up the eleventh-most fantasy points to running backs.
