Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson (ribs) is listed as probable and will play in the team's Week 16 game against the Miami Dolphins. Jackson sat out practice on Wednesday and returned on a limited basis on Thursday and Friday.
Fantasy Impact: Jackson is good to go and will be in his usual role, splitting time with C.J. Spiller. Jackson has quietly had a solid fantasy season and has rushed 174 times for 725 yards (4.2 YPC) and has found the end zone eight times, twice through the air. While Jackson isn't a strong candidate to drop a gem line in a given fantasy week, his value is in his consistency. Jackson is a safe bet to receive 10-15 carries and three catches and he has remained the team's goal-line back all throughout the year. Scoring opportunities have been scarce in Buffalo's offense, but Jackson has certainly made the most of them.
Jackson has a favorable match up in the Dolphins and owners have every reason to expect to see him continue his moderate fantasy production. As a solid bet for a touchdown and a few catches, Jackson is a low-end RB2/flex play in Week 16.
