Thomas missed Wednesday and Thursday's practice after aggravating a high ankle sprain during the team's win over the New England Patriots. Despite that, he will suit up versus a leaky Buffalo Bills run defense and share time with Lamar Miller in the backfield once again.
Fantasy Spin: The Bills present a middling matchup for opposing running backs, as they have allowed only seven rushing touchdowns to players at that position, but the 1,559 rushing yards they have allowed are the fourth-most in the NFL. As a result, the Dolphins, who are typically a pass-heavy team, ought to have plenty of room to run if they elect to do so.
The elephant in the room, of course, is how the workload will be distributed. Lamar Miller has out-carried Thomas throughout the course of the season, but has not been able to accumulate productive fantasy point totals on a consistent basis. Thomas being active puts a cap on Miller's upside, and makes him a risky flex play at best for Week 16. In the last meeting with the Bills, Thomas carried the ball 12 times for 60 yards while Miller amassed 43 yards on nine carries.
